A very well built Farrier.  Built in balsa core (Durakore) and epoxy by Colin Haigh of Vancouver.  A sister ship to “Sauterelle” of Victoria – built at the same time.

Fitted out in 2008 with racing rig and all new UK carbon tape drive sails, jib, main, schreecher, moderate spinnaker and rotating aluminum spar.   New Anderson winches, nets and steerable Yamaha 4-stroke 9.9 hp motor by Dennis Morgan of Victoria and seldom used thereafter.

Purchased 2010 by Peter Walford of Hornby Island and interior gutted and refinished in birch/yellow cedar.  Reconfigured seating, galley table, new windows, interior LED lighting, propane fireplace, 3 burner stove and refrigerator.  GPS, VHF radio, sound system, composting head (no holding thank= no weight), fresh and salt water to dual sinks, aft cabin double and forward bee-berth.

18 knots first time out.  Covers a lot of ground in simple luxury, in a hurry, and with no fuss.
